WHAT TEACHERS WILL GAIN
• Explore what a true “thinking classroom” looks and feels like
• Learn strategies to make student thinking visible
• Design learning engagements that promote deep understanding
• Develop ways to foster student agency and ownership
• Explore questioning that deepens thinking
• Explore how conceptual learning promotes students as thinkers
• Understand the importance of sense making and students constructing meaning
• Experience practical strategies that can immediately transfer into classrooms
